Rwanda focuses on investors at the Africa economic forum

President of Rwanda Mr. Paul Kagame is within Nigeria to take part in the World Economic Forum about Africa during which officials from Rwanda are expected to promote the business environment of the country as well as connect it to prospective investors.

Over One Thousand business leaders together with government officials from different parts of the world are within Abuja for this meeting.

This meeting begins today.

The Delegates at this meeting will talk about the issues threatening economic development on the African continent including poverty reduction, prolonged inequality, strengthening investment partnerships as well as agriculture productivity.

The President was accompanied by the minister of Finance Claver Gatete, minister for Foreign Affairs Louise Mushikiwabo as well Clare Akamanzi the chief operations officer at Rwanda Development Board.

Amb. Gatete in his words commented that this is an excellent economic opportunity for the delegation from Rwanda to try and promote their country’s favorable business environment in order to entice investments.

The minister went on to say that they are as well looking forward to publicly share their experience plus economic objectives with professionals from different parts of the world. For that reason the meeting is forthcoming at the best time and will assist shade light on how this nation will attain its 2nd Economic Development as well as Poverty Reduction plan.

Discovering ways concerning how to expand on the current successes in unleashing more than $7 billion amount of investment for the African smallholder farmers is as well a main concern these delegates will talk about.

the head of World Economic Forum for Africa Elsie Kanza, , explained in a statement that the continued advancement of Africa is dependent upon the capability of its leaders to make these bold decisions required to transform the economy as well as general society of the continent.

Kanza went on to say that through bringing together the leaders from civil society, politics as well as business they hope this meeting will provide an environment in which these kinds of decisions can be accelerated, and where dedication plus creativity may be drawn on to create a future ideal for all the people on the African continent.

During the Forum, the President of Rwanda is expected to talk on the free movement of goods plus the people on the African continent, address on the development in Africa, and talk to young international shapers forum.

Other than President Kagame plus the host of the event – President Goodluck Jonathan, this forum attracted several other president and government officials, such as Li Keqiang China’s premier.
